“What is the procedure for blood transfusion consent?”
Answered with a citation to the governing policy and section
Module 02 · HDC:Policy
HDC:Policy answers plain-language questions from your hospital's own approved policies — and cites the document each answer came from, so anyone can open it and check. Drafts never surface. A second pass re-reads every answer against the policy text and removes any statement the policy doesn't support.
Ask in plain language
No keyword syntax, no knowing which document to open first. The kind of question your night nurse actually asks.

Illustrative questions. Answers are drawn only from the approved policies your hospital has loaded.
Every answer
Approved
Drafts are never indexed. Superseded versions stop answering the moment they are superseded. What comes back is what is currently in force.
Cited
Every answer carries inline citations that link to the exact source policy, so the person who asked can open it and read the paragraph themselves.
Checked
A second model re-reads the draft answer against the retrieved policy text and removes any statement the policy doesn't support, before anyone sees it.
How it works
Step 01
Upload your existing policies as PDF, Word or plain text, and route each one through an approval workflow you configure: steps, approvers, deadlines, escalation.
Step 02
Only approved, current versions are indexed, inside your tenant's own scope. Drafts and superseded versions stay out of the answer set entirely.
Step 03
Anyone with access asks in everyday language. The question is expanded, matched against your policies, and searched again if the first pass comes back thin.
Step 04
A second model checks the draft answer against the retrieved text and strips what isn't supported. What remains links back to the exact document.
The differentiator
Most of the risk in asking an AI about clinical policy isn't that it fails to find the answer. It's that it finds most of the answer and fills in the rest — fluently, plausibly, and without telling you which part it made up.
So retrieval isn't the last step here. Once a draft answer exists, a separate pass re-reads it sentence by sentence against the policy text that was actually retrieved, and removes anything that text doesn't support. The answer that reaches the user is the part that survived.
That is also why citations matter more than confidence scores. Every claim points at a document, and the person who asked can open it. Trust is something they verify in ten seconds, not something we assert.
Governance
Configurable approval workflows. Multi-step, with user, role or email approvers, per-step deadlines, escalation and reminders. Approvers can sign off directly from the email.
Real version control. Draft to official, with checksums on approved versions, supersession tracking, side-by-side comparison and rollback.
When a surveyor asks how a policy was approved, the record of who approved it, when, and against which version is already there.
Follow-up questions. Conversations keep their context, so the second question doesn't have to restate the first.
Search and browse. The full policy library stays browsable by title and policy number, with in-browser preview and download.
Onboarding gets shorter. A new nurse, resident or floater asks the question instead of finding the person who knows where the binder is.
